I would love the opportunity to talk to you…I own a resort on Lake Vermilion and very involved with
the local organizations that support our lake ( Sportsman club, Resort Assoc. guide league etc)
Recently we learned our lake will be taking additional tribal netting pressure in addition to the
the local DNR ‘s data that says the sample netting indicates a reduction in all year classes.
Bottom line is many of us feel we need to engage more of the local lake community vs putting
all of our eggs in the basket of the DNR to ensure our walleye fishery. We seen what happened to
Mil Lacs and are very concerned. We would like to follow your lead and form a lake fisheries group . I have a questions for you if you had the time. if you do please
